I was disappointed to hear that the funding for devolved sevices had gone awry. Do hope it will not put the scheme in jeopardy. If anything the scheme needs to be expanded so more man hours can be spent particularly on rubbish picking and road sweeping. Chillington has never looked so nice since the extra grass cutting started.Long may it continue.
Thank you Anonymous. We have not given up on funding yet.

Why are such noisy vehicles allowed to travel our highways with such impunity. Some cars and motorbikes would seem to have very little if any in the way of a silencer system. The noise can be heard for miles and must be a nightmare for people living near the road.Perhaps the police could make an effort to discourage this antisocial behaviour this summer.
Thank you Silverwing. The question of noise etc from boy bikers and drivers was raised at the Annual Parish Meeting last evening. Our Beat Manager Pc Steve mutton was in attendance and said that he would try and do somethin about this anti-social behaviour.
